SUPERADOBE

For five months in Joshua Tree, Brandon camped with a team on-site while constructing a superadobe dome — a low-impact building method using earth-packed sandbags to create a durable, thermally efficient, load-bearing structure.

Rooted in sustainable design, the build minimizes material waste while maximizing resilience to climate conditions.

The project extended beyond construction into craft, with custom decorative painting and tile work completing the space.
